
Labor Day Beach Party
The Duxbury July 4th Activities Committee invites all Duxbury residents to the Labor Day Beach Party and Bonfire at Duxbury Beach on Saturday, August 30th! As summer winds down, there’s no better way to spend the final weekend than enjoying an evening of music and a roaring bonfire with family and friends. Food will be available for purchase, or feel free to bring your own. Admission is FREE, and porta-potties will be conveniently located in the parking lot.
Come join us for a fun, memorable evening to celebrate the end of summer!

Duxbury Beach

Parking and Access:
Please be aware that the resident parking lot and all available oversand access are expected to fill early in the afternoon. Once parking capacity is reached, the following options are available:

After 3 PM: Duxbury residents may park at Duxbury Beach Park (DBP) at no charge. If you do not have a beach sticker, please show your vehicle registration to the parking attendant.

Non-resident oversand vehicles: May park at the overflow north lot if oversand areas are full.

Non-residents at DBP: Must pay the daily parking fee.

Safety notice: For pedestrians who have parked at DBP, the dirt road between the resident lot and Duxbury Beach Park will be lit, and travel may be restricted to one lane after 5 PM.
Safety Guidelines:
To ensure a safe and enjoyable event, we ask that you:

Do not allow children to climb on the bonfire structure, lifeguard stand, or stage.

Respect the caution tape perimeter around the bonfire, established by the committee and public safety officials, as wind conditions can change quickly.

Prearrange a meeting place for your children in case you get separated.

Call 911 immediately for any emergencies or medical issues.
